How the scam works
Zoom impersonation sites borrow the trust of a familiar brand. A visitor who expects a meeting link, a client download or a sign-in page lands on a lookalike domain instead. Schemes of this kind usually push a fake installer or a login form. The victim can lose account credentials, the contents of private meetings, or control of their device if they run the downloaded file. Mixing a Zoom-style domain with a Chinese betting-portal identity can also funnel visitors toward gambling registration and deposit pages.
Evidence
On 2026-10-06, VirusTotal showed 10 of 91 engines flagging the domain. Detections came from Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue, among others. That is a minority of engines, but the flags come from several unrelated vendors. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as a spam domain. Four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it. Besides PhishDestroy, the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists carry the domain, so users of those tools get a warning before the page loads.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-28 through Web Commerce Communications Limited. PhishDestroy caught it six days later, which fits a short-lived phishing domain spun up for one campaign. It resolves to 177.210.168.19 on the SH2206 network in Hong Kong. Its Let's Encrypt (YR2) certificate gives the site a padlock in the browser, which proves only that the connection is encrypted, not that the operator is legitimate.
What to do
If you entered a Zoom or email password here, change it at once from the official Zoom site. Change it anywhere else you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you downloaded and ran anything from this domain, disconnect the device, run a full malware scan and sign out of all active sessions. Only get Zoom from its official app stores or the address you type yourself. Never send money to any betting or registration page reached through this domain.
