It targets people who hold or trade USDC and expect a legitimate service behind that name. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14, with its content blocked by the provider, and it was still down at the last check on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
The domain invokes USDC, but the page title reads "onkeyon", a name unrelated to the brand we classified it under. Sites built on a stablecoin's name usually present themselves as an official or partner platform, then push visitors to deposit funds, connect a wallet or enter account credentials. Whatever is sent or authorized goes to the operators, and stablecoin transfers cannot be reversed once confirmed.
Evidence
Independent detection is thin. VirusTotal showed 2 of 92 engines flagging the domain on 2026-10-13, from Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and LevelBlue. Most scanners had not caught up by then. Among the blocklists we track, PhishDestroy is the only one listing it. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tied it to malicious activity.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-11-09 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., roughly eleven months before PhishDestroy detected it. Holding a domain that long before use can help it look established to filters that distrust brand-new registrations. Traffic was served through Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada. That address belongs to Cloudflare's network, so it hides where the real server is. The Google Trust Services certificate is a standard one issued for Cloudflare-fronted sites and does not mean the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you sent USDC or other crypto to this site in response to a deposit request, a promised yield or an "unlock" fee, do not pay anything more. Record the transaction hashes and report them to the exchange or wallet you sent from. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals the site may have obtained. Move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you entered a password or recovery details, change them everywhere they are reused and enable app-based 2FA. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and hunt for similar USDC-plus-number domains.
