PhishDestroy threat report
us-wallet-ledger.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger, the hardware wallet maker, and is aimed at people who keep their crypto on a Ledger device. The "us-wallet" prefix and the page title "Ledger Wallet: Secure Your Cryptocurrency Safely" are meant to pass as an official regional support or setup portal. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
Fake Ledger portals like this one usually tell visitors that their wallet needs to be secured, synchronized or verified. They then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase, sometimes through a form styled like Ledger Live. A genuine Ledger never asks for that phrase on a website. Anyone who types it in gives the operator full control of the wallet, and the attacker can move every asset to their own address from any device, with no way to reverse the transfers. The reassuring title about safe storage is the bait that makes handing over the phrase feel like a security step.
On 2026-09-29, 12 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the site. They include BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai and ADMINUSLabs, so major endpoint vendors agree with the verdict, not just niche feeds. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognized Ledger branding on it. The domain is also listed by MetaMask, SEAL and PhishFeed alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet users with those protections should already see a warning.
The page sits on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain created on 2026-08-23, about three weeks before PhishDestroy caught it. It is served from Cloudflare's network with a Canadian geolocation. Its Google Trust Services certificate comes automatically with Pages hosting, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate. Throwaway subdomains like this cost nothing to create, and similar copies can appear quickly under new names.
If you entered your recovery phrase on this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new Ledger account with a freshly generated phrase, ideally after resetting the device, and move any remaining funds there immediately. Never reuse the exposed phrase. If you only visited and typed nothing, no action is needed beyond closing the page. Remember that Ledger will never ask for your phrase online, by email or through support chat. Security teams should block the hostname, report it to Cloudflare's abuse channel for Pages takedown, and watch for similar "wallet-ledger" subdomains on pages.dev.
