How the scam works
The site runs on the Gambler Scam kit, a template that produces polished but fake crypto casinos. These sites invite players to sign up and deposit crypto, often with a bonus. They then display a growing balance that exists only on the screen. When a player tries to cash out, the withdrawal is blocked behind invented requirements such as "verification" or "unlock" payments, wagering targets, or extra deposits. Every coin sent in, plus any fee paid to release winnings, goes straight to the operators.
Evidence
On 2026-10-02, 17 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF and CyRadar. That is a broad mix of traditional antivirus vendors and specialist scam trackers. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and matched the page to generic crypto and crypto-scam brand patterns. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have independently tied it to fraud activity.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-03-02 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., about seven months before PhishDestroy detected it. That long a run suggests the operators have been taking deposits for some time. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, Inc. (Canada), which hides the server that actually hosts the casino. Its Let's Encrypt certificate is free and automatic, so the browser padlock proves nothing about whether the casino is legitimate.
What to do
Do not deposit anything. If you already have funds on the site, never pay a "withdrawal fee," tax or verification charge to release them, because those payments only deepen the loss. Save your transaction hashes, deposit addresses and any chat screenshots. Report them to the exchange or service you sent funds from and to local police. Ignore anyone offering to "recover" your crypto, as that is a common follow-up scam. If you reused a password when registering, change it wherever else you use it. Security teams should block solarplay.cc and watch for lookalike casino domains built on the same Gambler Scam template.
