PhishDestroy threat report
safety-ledger.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that borrows the Ledger name to target owners of Ledger hardware wallets. The "safety" wording in the address suggests a security pretext built to make a warning or check-up look official. PhishDestroy first saw the site on 2026-09-15. It was still online with its content live as of 2026-10-19.
Ledger impersonation pages usually claim the visitor's device or account needs a security check, firmware fix or verification. The visitor is then asked to type in the 24-word recovery phrase or connect a wallet. Anyone holding the recovery phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and move every asset in it, so the loss is total and cannot be reversed. The page title reads "体系台账管理系统", Chinese for a ledger-management system. That title does not match the Ledger wallet branding we classified.
VirusTotal shows 4 of 91 engines flagging the site as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, VIPRE and Webroot. That count is low, so most scanners will still let a visitor through without a warning. Detection does not rest on antivirus alone. MetaMask's blocklist and SEAL both list the site alongside PhishDestroy, and wallet users with MetaMask protection get a warning before the page loads.
The site is a subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, a free static hosting service. It was set up on 2026-09-04, eleven days before PhishDestroy detected it, a short lead time typical of disposable phishing pages. Traffic resolves through Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated to Canada. The TLS certificate from Google Trust Services is the platform's automatic default. The padlock says nothing about who runs the page.
Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase on a website, by email or in chat. If you typed it here, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a device with a fresh phrase and move your funds to it immediately, before anything else. If you connected a wallet or signed a transaction, revoke token approvals with a trusted approval-checking tool and watch for unexpected transfers. Defenders should block this specific subdomain rather than all of pages.dev, report it to Cloudflare's abuse team, and flag Ledger-themed security alerts in user awareness training.
