PhishDestroy threat report
risevest-app.com is a fake crypto exchange that presents itself as an "AI Trading Platform" under the Risevest name. It targets people looking for automated crypto trading or investment returns. PhishDestroy first saw the site on 2026-09-23. It has been offline since 2026-09-26, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolves.
The page title, "risevest | AI Trading Platform | Official Website", is typical of fake trading platforms. These sites promise algorithmic or AI-driven profits and use an "official" label to look legitimate. Victims are encouraged to open an account and deposit crypto or fiat. A dashboard then shows fabricated gains to prompt larger deposits. When the victim tries to withdraw, the platform invents fees, taxes or verification steps, or simply stops responding. The deposited funds are kept by the operators. Personal and identity details submitted during sign-up can also be reused for follow-up fraud, including fake recovery services.
On 2026-09-25, VirusTotal showed 16 of 91 engines flagging the domain. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist and appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered on 2026-01-11 through MainReg Inc. It was hosted on IP 185.62.57.10 in the Snel.com B.V. network in the Netherlands. Its TLS certificate was issued by ZeroSSL GmbH under the ZeroSSL ECC DV SSL CA 2 intermediate. That is a domain-validated certificate, which confirms only control of the domain and says nothing about who runs it.
If you deposited funds on this platform, stop all further payments, whatever fee or unlock charge is demanded. Collect your transaction hashes, payment receipts and chat logs, and report them to your bank or exchange and to local police or cybercrime authorities. If you reused a password from your account here, change it elsewhere and enable two-factor authentication. Be wary of anyone who contacts you offering to recover the money, because recovery scams commonly follow fake exchange losses. Defenders should block risevest-app.com and the hosting IP at DNS and proxy level, and search logs for past visits.
