PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

phantom-chat.pages.dev poses as a Phantom product under the name "PhantomFlow Chat" and targets people who hold Solana assets in the Phantom wallet. PhishDestroy classifies it as impersonation phishing and first flagged it on 2026-09-14. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content, so anyone who reaches it today faces a working trap.

How the scam works

The "PhantomFlow Chat" branding presents a chat or community feature that Phantom does not offer, which gives the visitor a reason to connect a wallet. Behind the page sits a Solana Drainer kit. Once the wallet is linked, the kit asks for transaction signatures that look routine but actually authorize transfers of SOL, tokens and NFTs to the attacker. A single careless signature can empty the wallet, and confirmed Solana transfers cannot be reversed.

Evidence

On 2026-09-23, VirusTotal showed 6 of 89 engines flagging the domain: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, VIPRE and Webroot. ChainPatrol focuses on crypto threats, so its verdict matters here. Still, coverage is thin. Most engines missed the site, and PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying it, so many browsers and security tools will not warn visitors.

Infrastructure

The site is a Cloudflare Pages project. Its address is a free subdomain under the shared pages.dev namespace, not a domain the operator had to buy. The entry dates to 2026-08-13, 32 days before PhishDestroy detected it. Traffic resolves through Cloudflare, Inc. with a Canada geolocation. Throwaway subdomains like this are quick to create and easy to replace, which suits short-lived drainer campaigns.

What to do

Do not connect a wallet to this page or sign anything it requests. If you already connected Phantom, open its connected-apps settings and remove this site. Check your recent transaction history for unexpected transfers. If you signed anything or entered a recovery phrase, move all remaining assets to a newly created wallet with a fresh seed phrase. Defenders should block the subdomain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare's abuse team so the Pages project can be taken down.
