PhishDestroy threat report
onlineview-unlockportal.com is a phishing domain impersonating TD Bank and aimed at its online banking customers. The name pairs "online view" with "unlock portal" to suggest an official page for restoring a locked account. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, and its DNS was still inactive at the last check on 2026-10-19.
Schemes like this usually start with a text or email claiming the victim's TD Bank access is restricted and must be unlocked through a link. The link leads to a lookalike sign-in page that collects the username and password, and often card details, security answers or one-time codes as well. With those, the attacker can log into the real account and move money before the victim notices. The page title showed a default "Welcome to nginx!" server page rather than TD Bank branding, while urlscan.io identified TD Bank content and we classified the site as impersonation.
On 2026-09-02, VirusTotal showed 10 of 91 engines flagging the domain, including BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and LevelBlue. Ten detections is a modest number, but the vendors span several unrelated security companies. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and detected the TD Bank brand on it. The domain also appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists and in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers reached the same conclusion on their own.
The domain was registered through Wix.com Ltd. on 2026-08-29, only two days before PhishDestroy caught it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains set up for a single campaign. It was hosted on the Neterra Ltd. network in Bulgaria and used a free Let's Encrypt certificate. The padlock in the browser therefore said nothing about whether the site was legitimate.
If you entered TD Bank credentials on this site, change your password right away through the official TD Bank app or by typing the bank's address yourself. Then call the bank's fraud line to report possible account takeover. Review recent transactions and payees, replace any card whose details you typed in, and reset 2FA or security questions if you shared codes or answers. Reuse of that password anywhere else means those accounts need new passwords too. Defenders should block the domain, search mail and proxy logs for "unlockportal" lures sent to staff, and watch for newly registered domains that combine TD Bank wording with unlock or verification themes.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
