novanole.com is an impersonation phishing site. It posed as a legitimate service so visitors would trust it with their information. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-24, one day after the domain was registered. The site went offline on 2026-09-27, and when we checked again on 2026-10-19 its DNS was still inactive.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a trusted brand, then ask the visitor to sign in, verify an account or confirm details. Anything typed in goes straight to the operators. Depending on what the page asks for, a victim can lose account credentials, personal data or, on crypto-themed fakes, access to a wallet. The page was titled "Bot Verification," which reads like a routine human check rather than a branded login, while our classification for the site is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
VirusTotal results from 2026-09-26 show 3 of 91 engines flagging the domain: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That is a low count. Netcraft and Forcepoint, though, run dedicated phishing feeds, so their agreement with our verdict carries weight. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses, which means other researchers tracked it independently. Of the blocklists we monitor, PhishDestroy is the only one listing it.
Infrastructure
The operation moved fast. The domain was registered through OwnRegistrar, Inc. on 2026-09-23, was serving phishing content by the next day, and was gone four days after registration. Short lifespans like this are common for throwaway phishing domains that get rotated once they are detected. The server sat on the FranTech Solutions network in Luxembourg. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the site could be trusted.
What to do
If you entered a username and password on novanole.com, change that password right away on the real service and on any other account that shares it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and review recent logins for unfamiliar sessions. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, consider that wallet compromised and move any remaining funds to a newly created wallet. Defenders should block the domain and search DNS and proxy logs from 2026-09-23 to 2026-09-27 for lookups of it. Any user found in those logs should get a password reset.
