live-en-ledger-auth.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page built to look like official Ledger material. It targets owners of Ledger hardware wallets and users of the Ledger Live app. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-07. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and on 2026-10-19 it was still dead, with its content blocked by the hosting provider.
How the scam works
The page presents itself as "Ledger Live Access Guide — Secure Steps & Best Practices". That title reads like a harmless help article, while we classified the site as impersonation phishing. Pages of this kind borrow Ledger's name and look to walk visitors through fake "access" or "verification" steps. Those steps usually end with a request for the 24-word recovery phrase or a wallet connection. Anyone holding that phrase controls the wallet, so victims can lose every asset it secures, and the hardware device offers no protection once the phrase is typed into a website.
Evidence
On 2026-09-17, 12 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Kaspersky. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent of one another and agree with each other. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and detected Ledger branding on it. Besides PhishDestroy, the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists also list the domain, so wallet users relying on those protections were warned.
Infrastructure
The site ran on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain rather than a registered domain. That setup costs nothing and can be replaced in minutes. The hosting resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated to Canada. The site went offline about nine days after PhishDestroy first saw it, and the provider has since blocked its content.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase on this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Reset your Ledger with a new phrase generated on the device, and move any remaining funds to it immediately from a clean setup. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase on a website, in an app form or through support. If you connected a software wallet, review and revoke token approvals you do not recognize. Defenders should block the domain and watch for similar Ledger-themed pages.dev subdomains, which can be redeployed under new names quickly.
