liv-ledger.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonated Ledger, the hardware wallet maker, to target people who keep crypto on a Ledger device. The "liv-" prefix on a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain mimics an official Ledger address. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-17, and Cloudflare was still blocking it at the last check on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger pages usually warn of a security problem, a required firmware update or a wallet sync error. They then ask the visitor to type in the 24-word recovery phrase to fix it. Ledger never asks for that phrase online, and anyone who has it can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it. This theft needs no transaction approval from the victim, and the losses cannot be reversed. The page now carries the title "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning screen rather than the Ledger content we classified.
Evidence
When checked on 2026-09-18, 12 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and alphaMountain.ai. That count is modest, but the vendors are established, independent engines. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet users relying on those feeds get a warning.
Infrastructure
The project was created on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-07-29, about six weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. It ran on Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocated to Canada. Free static hosting like this lets operators launch disposable lookalike sites quickly, and it lets the provider block them just as quickly. Cloudflare did that here roughly nine days after first detection.
What to do
If you typed your Ledger recovery phrase into this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up the device with a brand-new phrase and move any remaining funds to the new accounts at once, before the attacker does. Never reuse the exposed phrase, and ignore follow-up "Ledger support" messages offering recovery help. If you only browsed the page without entering anything, your funds are not at risk from that visit. Defenders should block the domain and watch for similar Ledger-themed subdomains on free hosting platforms.
