Its name is a deliberate misspelling of Ledger, the hardware wallet maker, framed as an official-looking FAQ or support page to catch owners searching for help. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-08. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving its content, so it remains a live risk.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger help pages prey on users who already have a problem, such as a firmware update, a sync error or a supposed security alert. The page walks the visitor toward a 'fix' that requires typing the 24-word recovery phrase into a web form or installing a counterfeit companion app that asks for it. Ledger never asks for that phrase online. Anyone who has it can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it, and the hardware device offers no protection once the phrase is out.
Evidence
Engine coverage is thin. VirusTotal showed 3 of 89 engines flagging the page on 2026-09-22, namely alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and LevelBlue. A clean result from most scanners therefore does not mean this site is safe. Crypto-focused feeds are firmer. MetaMask, SEAL and PhishFeed all list it alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus carries it in its DBL under the phishing category.
Infrastructure
The project was created on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-07-30, about 40 days before PhishDestroy caught it. Free static-hosting subdomains like this let operators publish a polished clone quickly and keep the cost of losing it low. Traffic resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. edge infrastructure, geolocated to Canada. HTTPS comes automatically through Google Trust Services, so the padlock says nothing about legitimacy.
What to do
If you typed your Ledger recovery phrase into this page or any app it offered, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new device with a fresh phrase and move any remaining funds to it immediately. Uninstall anything downloaded from the site and only get Ledger software through Ledger's own channels. If you connected a software wallet, revoke any approvals it granted. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, report it to Cloudflare's abuse team, and remind users that no legitimate support page ever asks for a seed phrase.
