How the scam works

The usual goal is to steer the reader toward a fake setup step, such as a counterfeit wallet download or a form asking for the recovery seed. Anyone who types their recovery phrase into such a page gives the operator full control of the wallet. The funds can then be moved out with no way to reverse the transfer.
Evidence
When VirusTotal checked the domain on 2026-09-18, none of its 89 engines flagged it. A clean score therefore says nothing about whether a short-lived page like this is safe. The classification rests on blocklist coverage from PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL, three crypto-focused lists that independently placed the domain on their deny lists. The hosting provider's own block on the content adds further confirmation.
Infrastructure
The site ran as a subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, a free static-hosting service. It was created on 2026-09-08, the same day PhishDestroy detected it, so the window between launch and detection was a matter of hours. Traffic resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. It used an automatically issued Google Trust Services certificate. The padlock in the browser only shows that the connection was encrypted, not that the site was genuine.
What to do
If you entered your Trezor recovery seed on this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a freshly generated seed and move any remaining funds to it immediately.
