ledgerrliive.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. It targets people who hold crypto on Ledger devices. The name doubles letters in "ledger" and "live" so it passes a quick glance as Ledger Live, the official companion app. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. It went offline on 2026-09-11 after its hosting provider blocked the content, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger Live pages usually invent a problem, such as a firmware update, a wallet sync error or a security alert. They then ask the visitor to type in their 24-word recovery phrase to fix it. Ledger never asks for that phrase online, and anyone who has it can rebuild the wallet on their own device. Victims who submit it lose everything the wallet holds, often within minutes. The page title shows only the bare hostname, with no Ledger branding in the tab. We classified the site as Ledger impersonation from its name and the vendor verdicts.
Evidence
On 2026-09-11, the same day the site went dark, 14 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged it. That is a solid share for a short-lived subdomain. The flagging vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky, so several independent security firms reached the same verdict. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet users get warnings from more than one source.
Infrastructure
The site ran as a free Cloudflare Pages project. That setup lets an operator publish a convincing page in minutes without buying a domain. The project carries a creation date of 2025-09-26, almost eleven months before PhishDestroy flagged it. It was served from Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated to Canada. Cloudflare later blocked the content.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a fresh phrase on your Ledger device and move any remaining funds to the new accounts immediately. If you also connected a software wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals for that address with a trusted approval checker. Get Ledger Live only from Ledger's official channels, and remember that no genuine Ledger screen asks for your 24 words. Defenders should block the hostname and watch for lookalike pages.dev subdomains that mimic Ledger Live naming.
