ledgerr-live-people.pages.dev is a phishing page impersonating Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. Its name borrows the Ledger Live app brand, with a doubled "r" that is easy to miss. It targets Ledger owners looking for the companion software or support. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11 and was still dead on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Ledger impersonation pages typically pose as a Ledger Live download, a firmware update or a wallet "verification" step. They then ask the visitor to type in the 24-word recovery phrase. Anyone holding that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and move every asset out, and transfers on the blockchain cannot be reversed. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare". That is the hosting provider's own warning screen, not Ledger branding, and it matches the provider block now in place.
Evidence
On 2026-09-11, 12 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the site, among them alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky. Those are independent vendors reaching the same verdict, so the count carries more weight than the raw number suggests. urlscan.io rated the page malicious. The domain is also listed by MetaMask and SEAL, so wallet users relying on those protections are already warned.
Infrastructure
The site is a free project subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, which lets anyone publish a page quickly without buying a domain. It was set up on 2025-10-11, roughly ten and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That is a long window in which the link could circulate. Traffic resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated in Canada. Cloudflare has since blocked the content on its side.
What to do
If you entered your recovery phrase on this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up your Ledger as a new wallet with a fresh phrase, then move any remaining funds to it immediately from a clean computer. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase, online or by phone, and Ledger Live should only be downloaded from Ledger's official site. If you only browsed the page without typing anything, no action is needed beyond avoiding similar links. Defenders should block the domain and watch for other pages.dev subdomains imitating Ledger Live under misspelled names.
