ledgerr--live--app.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. Its doubled letters and hyphens are built to pass a quick glance as a Ledger Live address. It targets people who own a Ledger device or use the Ledger Live app. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, and on the last check, 2026-10-19, it was still dead with its content blocked by the hosting provider.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger Live pages usually claim the wallet needs a sync, update, security check or recovery step. They then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase or push a fake download. Anyone who types that phrase hands over full control of every account it secures, and the thief can empty the wallet without touching the physical device. The page now carries the title "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's own warning screen, not Ledger-branded content. We still classify the hostname as Ledger impersonation.
Evidence
urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. Its brand match, generic Cloudflare, fits the warning page now served in place of the original content. The domain is listed on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which gives three separate crypto-focused sources behind the classification. VirusTotal showed 0 detections out of 89 engines on 2026-09-11, the same day the site went offline. A clean VirusTotal result here does not mean the page was safe.
Infrastructure
The page was published on Cloudflare Pages, a free static hosting service that gives any project a subdomain under pages.dev. The hostname dates to 2025-09-18, almost a year before PhishDestroy flagged it. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. Using a free platform subdomain lets the operator skip registering a lookalike domain and borrow the platform's trusted address and certificate.
What to do
If you entered your recovery phrase on this page, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a fresh phrase on a reset or new device and move any remaining funds to the new accounts at once. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase through a website, app prompt or support chat. If you downloaded anything from the page, uninstall it and scan the computer before using any wallet on it again. If you connected a software wallet, review and revoke unfamiliar token approvals. Defenders should block this exact pages.dev hostname, not the whole platform, and report new Ledger lookalikes on pages.dev to Cloudflare's abuse team.
