ledgerliv-home.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger. The near-miss name "ledgerliv" is built to read like Ledger Live at a glance, so it aims at Ledger hardware wallet owners. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, and the hosting provider has blocked its content, which was still the case at the last check on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger Live pages usually claim the wallet needs an update, sync or security check. They then ask the visitor to type in the 24-word recovery phrase. Whoever holds that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty every account it controls, and the hardware device cannot stop it. The page now carries the title "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning screen rather than the original lure. We classify the site as Ledger impersonation.
Evidence
On 2026-09-13, 13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Ermes and alphaMountain.ai. Several of these are mainstream antivirus vendors, so the detection does not rest on one niche feed. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict, though its brand match shows only the generic Cloudflare warning page that now replaces the content. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed by MetaMask and SEAL, two blocklists focused on crypto threats.
Infrastructure
The site is a subdomain on Cloudflare Pages, a free static-hosting service where anyone can publish a page under a pages.dev address. It was created on 2025-10-10, roughly ten and a half months before we detected it. It resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. Because the address sits on a shared provider domain, the operators never had to register or pay for a lookalike domain of their own.
What to do
If you typed your Ledger recovery phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new device or reset your Ledger with a fresh phrase, and move any remaining funds to the new addresses immediately. If you only opened the page and entered nothing, no action is needed beyond closing it. Ledger will never ask for your recovery phrase, and the phrase belongs only on the device itself. Security teams should block the hostname, watch for other pages.dev subdomains imitating Ledger Live, and report new ones to Cloudflare for quick takedown.
