PhishDestroy threat report
ledgerling.pages.dev is a phishing page that borrows the Ledger name to reach people who keep crypto on Ledger hardware wallets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content. The page presents itself as "Ledgerling — your budget, your character," which reads like a budgeting app, while we classify the site as Ledger impersonation.
Ledger impersonation pages usually exploit trust in the hardware wallet brand. They push a fake firmware update, a "wallet sync," or a security check, and then ask for the 24-word recovery phrase or prompt the visitor to connect a wallet and sign transactions. A recovery phrase typed into such a page gives the attacker full control of every account derived from it, and they can empty those accounts at any time without touching the physical device. Signed approvals have a similar effect, letting the operator move tokens out of the connected wallet.
Three independent blocklists list this domain: PhishDestroy, MetaMask's wallet-side phishing list, and SEAL. On VirusTotal, 6 of 92 engines flagged it as of 2026-10-14: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Webroot. That is a low count, so many browsers and security tools will still load the page without a warning. The wallet-focused listings are the stronger signal here.
The subdomain was created on Cloudflare Pages on 2026-08-22, nine days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of disposable phishing deployments. It is served from Cloudflare's network with a Canadian geolocation. Free static-hosting subdomains like this cost nothing to replace, so the same lure may reappear under a new name.
If you typed your recovery phrase on this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new Ledger or reset your device with a fresh phrase, then move any remaining funds immediately. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase online. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, revoke the token approvals it granted and watch for unexpected outgoing transfers. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and report it to Cloudflare for takedown. It is also worth watching for lookalike pages.dev subdomains built around the Ledger name.
