ledger-walet-en.pages.dev is a phishing page that impersonates Ledger, the hardware wallet maker. Its subdomain misspells "wallet" and adds a language tag to look like an official English-language support page. It targets Ledger owners. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11 after the hosting provider blocked it, and it was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger pages usually claim the device needs a firmware update, a wallet sync or a security check. They then ask the visitor to type in the 24-word recovery phrase. Anyone who holds that phrase can rebuild the wallet on their own device and empty it, and a hardware wallet offers no protection once the phrase is out. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare". That is the provider's warning screen, while we classify the content behind it as Ledger impersonation.
Evidence
On 2026-09-11, 13 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. They include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a moderate but clear consensus among established security vendors. urlscan.io gave a malicious verdict, and its brand match was a generic Cloudflare page, which fits the provider's block screen. Beyond PhishDestroy, the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists also list the domain, so wallet users are warned in the tools they already use.
Infrastructure
The site ran on Cloudflare Pages, a free static hosting service that lets anyone publish a page under a trusted-looking shared domain without buying one. The subdomain was created on 2025-10-09, almost eleven months before PhishDestroy detected it. It resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. The site went offline on the same day the VirusTotal check was run, which suggests the platform acted quickly once the reports came in.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase into this page, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a freshly generated phrase on your Ledger and move any remaining funds there right away. Never type a recovery phrase into a website, because Ledger never asks for it online. If you also connected a software wallet while on the page, review and revoke any token approvals you do not recognise. Defenders should block the subdomain, watch for look-alike Ledger names on free hosting platforms, and report new copies to the hosting provider and to wallet blocklists.
