ledger-start-com-cvs.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that uses Cloudflare branding. Its hostname borrows the wording of Ledger's device setup flow, which puts hardware wallet owners in the line of fire. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11, its content is blocked by the hosting provider, and it was still down at the last check on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages like this one copy a trusted brand's look so the visitor lowers their guard. They then push the visitor toward a fake verification step, login or wallet setup prompt. On crypto-themed lures, the usual goal is a recovery phrase, a password or a wallet connection, and any of these hands the attacker control of the victim's funds or accounts. The page title currently reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the wording of Cloudflare's own warning notice, while we classified the domain as an impersonation phishing page.
Evidence
Twelve of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-13. Named vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Emsisoft, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and LevelBlue, a spread of independent commercial engines rather than a single outlier. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and matched it to generic Cloudflare branding. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, both maintained by crypto security teams, which supports the wallet-user focus.
Infrastructure
The project was created on Cloudflare Pages on 2025-10-15, roughly ten and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap shows the address stayed live and usable for a long time before it surfaced in threat feeds. The site resolves to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated to Canada. That network is a shared platform, and the provider has since blocked the content.
What to do
If you typed a Ledger or other wallet recovery phrase into this site, treat that wallet as compromised. Set up a new wallet with a fresh phrase and move any remaining funds there immediately. If you entered a password or email login, change it everywhere you reuse it and turn on two-factor authentication. Ledger never asks for your recovery phrase on any website. Defenders should block the domain and other ledger-themed pages.dev subdomains at the proxy or DNS layer, and report new lookalikes to Cloudflare and the SEAL and MetaMask blocklists.
