ledger-live-home-app.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page posing as a home for Ledger Live, the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets. It targets people looking to download, update or repair Ledger Live. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. Cloudflare has blocked it, and it has been offline since 2026-09-11. It was still down when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger Live sites usually push a bogus app download or a scripted "sync", "recovery" or "firmware" warning. The goal is to make the visitor type in their 24-word recovery phrase. Ledger never asks for that phrase anywhere except on the device itself. Anyone who enters it gives the attacker full control of every account derived from it, and the funds can be swept to another wallet within minutes. The page now shows the title "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the provider's warning screen, while our classification covers the Ledger impersonation it previously served.
Evidence
On 2026-09-11, 14 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky, so several independent security firms reached the same conclusion. urlscan.io rated the site malicious. The domain is on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which means wallet users relying on those feeds are warned before the page loads.
Infrastructure
The site ran on Cloudflare Pages, a free static-hosting service where anyone can launch a subdomain under pages.dev within minutes. The hostname borrows credibility from the "Ledger Live" name and a familiar platform address. Its registration record dates to 2025-09-29, nearly eleven months before PhishDestroy caught it. Traffic was served through Cloudflare, Inc. infrastructure geolocated to Canada.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up a new Ledger seed on your device and move any remaining funds to it right away. Never reuse the old phrase. If you downloaded an app from the page, remove it and reinstall Ledger Live only from Ledger's official channels. Remember that no legitimate support flow will ever ask for your 24 words. Defenders should block the hostname and watch for similar Ledger-themed pages.dev subdomains, since these can be redeployed cheaply after a takedown.
