ledger-live-downlload.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page that poses as a download source for Ledger Live, the companion app for Ledger hardware wallets. The doubled "l" in "downlload" is a typo-style lure for people searching for the app. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-08. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and as of 2026-10-19 its content remains blocked by the hosting provider.
How the scam works
Fake Ledger Live download pages exploit the moment when a user installs or reinstalls the app. They usually ask the visitor to type in their 24-word recovery phrase or serve a counterfeit app that later demands it. A real Ledger device never needs the phrase entered on a website or computer. Anyone who hands it over gives the attacker full control of every account derived from it, and those funds can be emptied without the device. The page title currently reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is Cloudflare's warning interstitial rather than Ledger-branded content, while we classify the underlying site as Ledger impersonation.
Evidence
On 2026-09-18, 15 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Those vendors include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft, so the flags come from several independent security stacks rather than one feed. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict. The domain also appears on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which means wallet software and crypto security responders already treat it as hostile.

What to do
If you downloaded anything from this site, uninstall it, and get Ledger Live only through Ledger's official channels. If you typed your recovery phrase anywhere on this page or into an app obtained from it, treat the wallet as compromised. Initialize a fresh seed on your Ledger device and move remaining funds to the new accounts immediately. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals you do not recognize.
