kucoinspro.com is a phishing site that borrows the KuCoin name, adding "spro" to look like an official or premium version of the exchange. It targets KuCoin customers and anyone searching for the exchange who might trust a familiar-looking domain. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-15, and it was still online with live content on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake exchange domains like this one copy the look of a real trading platform so visitors will sign in, hand over two-factor codes or deposit funds. Stolen credentials are used to take over the real KuCoin account. Money sent to the fake platform goes straight to the operators, often followed by invented "withdrawal fees" or "verification deposits" that recover nothing. The page carries the title "OSL," which is the name of a different crypto platform, while the domain and our classification point to KuCoin impersonation.
Evidence
Fifteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-24, including BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Emsisoft, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and tagged the page as a crypto scam. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus carries it in its DBL as a phishing domain. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so several separate research teams have tied it to fraud.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-12 and was being flagged three days later, which matches a site built quickly for a scam rather than an established business. Both registration and hosting run through Cloudflare, and the visible address sits on Cloudflare's network in Canada. Because that network acts as a front-end proxy, the server actually holding the content stays hidden. The certificate comes from Google Trust Services, so the browser padlock only shows an encrypted connection and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you signed in here, change your KuCoin password right away, reset two-factor authentication, end all active sessions and check for new API keys, withdrawal addresses or unfamiliar logins. If you sent money, do not pay any "fee" or "tax" to release it. Contact KuCoin support and your bank or payment provider, and report the theft to the police. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and watch for other KuCoin and OSL lookalike domains registered around the same time.
