icloud-location.info is an impersonation phishing page that poses as Apple's iCloud service and targets iPhone, iPad and Mac owners. The domain name suggests the lost-device location feature that people rely on after a phone goes missing. PhishDestroy first saw the site on 2026-10-16. It was still online and serving live content when last checked on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Fake iCloud pages like this usually arrive through a text or email claiming a lost or stolen device has been found, with a link to view its location. The victim lands on a page styled like iCloud and is asked to sign in with an Apple ID and password, sometimes also a verification code. Whatever is typed goes straight to the operators. With that access a thief can remove Activation Lock from a stolen device, read synced photos, messages and backups, and reuse the password on other accounts. The page title shows only the domain name, so it does not identify a specific kit.
Evidence
On 2026-10-16, 15 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Detections included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, DNS8, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Google Safe Browsing. Google Safe Browsing lists it under SOCIAL_ENGINEERING, its category for deceptive phishing pages. The domain also appears on the PhishDestroy and Phishunt blocklists.

The domain was registered on 2025-09-07 through Sav.com, LLC. It resolves to 172.234.195.206 on Akamai Connected Cloud in the United States. Its TLS certificate comes from Let's Encrypt (YE1). The padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is genuine.
What to do
If you entered your Apple ID on this site, change the password right away from Settings on a trusted device. Then review the trusted devices and phone numbers on your account and remove any you do not recognise. Turn on two-factor authentication if it is off, and change the same password anywhere else you have used it. If your device was stolen, do not remove it from your account or turn off Find My because of a message, since that is exactly what these lures aim for. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at the DNS and proxy level and search mail and SMS logs for links to it. Teach staff that real Apple location alerts never ask for a login through a texted link.
