How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a brand people already trust, then wait for victims who arrive through ads, search results, direct messages or lookalike links. Once a visitor believes they are on the real service, the page asks for whatever it can monetize: account credentials, a seed phrase, a wallet connection or a payment. The domain is registered through Global Domain Group LLC. It went offline on 2026-09-13, about six weeks after PhishDestroy first saw it. That date is the same day as the VirusTotal check, a short lifespan typical of throwaway phishing domains. Because operators usually move to a fresh domain rather than revive a burned one, the same scheme may reappear under a different name.
What to do
If you entered a password on gambwix.com, change it on the real service and on any account that reuses it, and turn on app-based two-factor authentication.
