eu-trezor.com poses as a European branch of Trezor, the hardware wallet brand, and targets people who keep crypto on a Trezor device. The "eu-" prefix is meant to look like an official regional site. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-08 and classifies it as impersonation phishing. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online, with its content behind a protection layer.
How the scam works
Fake Trezor sites usually claim the owner must verify the device, restore access or install an urgent firmware or security update. The victim is then asked to type their 12- or 24-word recovery seed into a web form, or to download a counterfeit wallet app that collects it. Trezor never asks for a seed online, and anyone holding those words can empty every account tied to the wallet. Visitors currently see a page titled "Attention Required! | Cloudflare", a generic interstitial rather than branded content, while our classification rests on the domain's Trezor impersonation.
Evidence
On 2026-10-16, 5 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so many security products will not warn visitors yet. The domain is on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists in addition to PhishDestroy's. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, which means other researchers have tracked it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-08-13 through Hosting Concepts B.V. d/b/a Registrar.eu, roughly eight weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. A gap like that is common when a site is prepared quietly before it is promoted to victims. Traffic runs through Cloudflare, Inc. at 188.114.96.3, with the address geolocated to Canada. This hides the actual origin server behind Cloudflare's network.
What to do
If you entered your recovery seed on this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Set up the device with a brand-new seed and move your funds to it immediately from a clean computer. If you connected a software wallet, revoke any token approvals you granted, and delete any app you downloaded from the site. Get Trezor software only through the official Trezor domain, typed by hand. Defenders should block eu-trezor.com at DNS and the proxy and look for lookalike Trezor domains with regional prefixes.
