This domain, cheapyet.pro, was set up to trick users into believing they could get ChatGPT Plus for just $3 a month. It's a classic phishing lure: a too-good-to-be-true deal designed to steal login credentials or payment information. The site's title, 'CheapYet — ChatGPT Plus for $3/month', is a clear attempt to impersonate OpenAI's popular service, and the domain was created on April 21, 2026, making it very recent when it was active.

PhishDestroy's investigation found that cheapyet.pro was registered through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com and resolved to IP 78.40.143.202. It was flagged by 11 out of 95 security vendors on VirusTotal, and Google Safe Browsing specifically marked it as phishing. AlienVault OTX also detected it in one threat intelligence pulse. The domain used a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate (R13) to appear legitimate, but it has since been taken offline. Despite being offline, the risk remains for anyone who interacted with the site.
