ceoseguros.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as the homepage of CEO Seguros, an insurance brand, under the title "Home - CEO Seguros". It targets people who believe they are dealing with that insurer, such as customers renewing a policy, filing a claim or requesting a quote. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-10. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving live content.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, name and wording of a real company so that visitors trust the forms in front of them. On a fake insurance site, that trust is usually turned into requests for identity documents, policy numbers, account logins or card details, often framed as a premium payment, a claim fee or a policy update. Anything typed into the page goes to the operators. Victims can lose money directly through fake payments and can also face identity misuse or account takeover.
Evidence
Fifteen of 92 security engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain as of 2026-10-12. The detections come from alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Dr.Web, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky, a mix of independent vendors rather than a single source. The domain also appears in 36 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows that other researchers have tracked it. PhishDestroy lists it on its own blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2021-03-24 through HOSTINGER operations, UAB, more than five years before PhishDestroy detected it, so its age is no sign of legitimacy. It resolves to 188.114.96.3 on Cloudflare's network (AS13335) in the US. Because that is a proxy address, it hides the server that actually hosts the content. The HTTPS certificate from Google Trust Services (WE1) only encrypts the connection, so the padlock says nothing about who runs the site.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it on the genuine insurer's portal and anywhere you reused it, then turn on two-factor authentication. If you submitted card or bank details or paid a "premium" or "fee", contact your bank immediately to block the card and dispute the charge. If you shared ID documents, watch for identity misuse. Reach CEO Seguros only through contact details you already know are genuine and report the fake site to them. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies, search mail logs for links to it, and report it to Cloudflare and the registrar so it can be taken down.
