This domain, www.bscwallet.info, posed as a legitimate BNB Chain institutional asset verification portal, but in reality it was a crypto drainer designed to steal cryptocurrency from unsuspecting users. The site likely tricked visitors into connecting their wallets or entering sensitive information, which would then be used to drain their funds. Even though the domain is now offline, the threat remains real for anyone who may have interacted with it.

PhishDestroy’s investigation uncovered several red flags. The domain was registered through GoDaddy.com, LLC and used a Let's Encrypt SSL certificate, which is common for both legitimate and malicious sites. On VirusTotal, only 1 out of 95 security vendors flagged it, showing that many scanners missed the threat. However, it did appear on one security blocklist, and its IP address 77.245.76.110 was associated with the malicious activity. The page title “BNB Chain | Institutional Asset Verification Portal” was a convincing lure for crypto users.
