blockfi-coinage.com is an impersonation phishing page that borrows the BlockFi name to look like part of the crypto lending brand, with a generic "coinage" suffix tacked on. How the scam works

On 2026-09-23, 11 of 89 VirusTotal engines marked the domain as malicious. They included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data and Kaspersky. That is a modest share of engines, but it is a broad mix of established vendors agreeing on the same verdict. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category, which affects mail filtering as well as browsing. It appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-01-28 through HOSTINGER operations, UAB, roughly twenty months before it was caught. That gap suggests a name bought early and held until a campaign needed it. It was hosted on Hostinger International Limited at 92.113.23.61 in Germany, so registration and hosting sat with the same provider family. Its certificate was a standard free one and says nothing about the operator.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it on the real BlockFi account and on any other service where you reused it. Then reset two-factor authentication and review recent logins. If you gave ID documents or personal details, watch for follow-up contact posing as BlockFi support, and never pay any fee to unlock or recover funds.
