How the scam works
Impersonation phishing pages copy the look of a trusted service so visitors believe they are on a legitimate site. The victim is then asked to log in, enter a recovery phrase or private key, or connect a wallet and approve a request. Whatever is entered goes straight to the operators. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, and wallet-security teams run both of those lists. AlienVault OTX links it to four community threat pulses, which means other researchers have tracked it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through TUCOWS.COM, CO. on 2026-04-23, more than five months before PhishDestroy flagged it. A long-dormant registration is a common way to avoid the scrutiny that brand-new domains receive. It was hosted on the Omegatech LTD network (OMEGATECH-AS) at an address in the Netherlands. The site used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether it was trustworthy.
