The likely targets are glider pilots, prospective aircraft buyers, clubs and parts customers who expect to deal with the genuine manufacturer. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17, and it was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Manufacturer impersonation borrows a real company's name and look so visitors trust the site with things they would only give the genuine firm. Typical goals include deposits or advance payments for aircraft, spare parts or service slots, contact and identity details from inquiry forms, and login credentials typed into fake customer areas. Because new sailplanes and parts are expensive and often ordered with a down payment, one convincing invoice or bank-transfer request can cost a buyer a substantial sum. That money usually cannot be recovered once it reaches the impersonator. The theme is aviation rather than crypto, but PhishDestroy classifies the site as impersonation.
Evidence
On 2026-09-29, 7 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: Criminal IP, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but these vendors run independent reputation and threat-intelligence feeds, so their agreement carries weight. The domain also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX community pulses, meaning other researchers have tracked it as well. Among blocklists it is currently listed by PhishDestroy only, so many browsers and filters may not warn visitors yet.
Infrastructure
The domain is old, registered on 2014-11-07, almost twelve years before PhishDestroy detected the impersonation. A long-established name can pass reputation checks that would stop a freshly registered lookalike, and that may help explain the modest detection count. It is registered through Ascio Technologies and hosted in Austria on the A1 Telekom Austria AG network. What to do
Do not send payments, deposits or documents through 304shark.info. If you already paid, contact your bank immediately to try to recall or dispute the transfer, and report it to the police. Confirm any order or invoice only through HPH contact details you have verified independently. Defenders should block the domain in mail and web filters, and aviation clubs and dealers should warn members who may be shopping for gliders or parts.
