ynppek.com is an impersonation phishing site that presented itself as a crypto service branded "YNPFM", a name that does not match any established platform. It targeted cryptocurrency users who could be persuaded to log in, deposit or connect a wallet. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-07. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and on our latest check on 2026-10-19 its content was still blocked by the provider.
How the scam works
Sites like this copy the look of a crypto exchange, wallet or investment dashboard and give it a short, official-sounding brand such as YNPFM to seem legitimate. Victims usually arrive through ads, social media or chat messages. Once there, they are pushed to enter account credentials or seed phrases, send a "deposit" to activate an account, or approve a wallet connection. Anything entered or sent goes straight to the operators, and crypto transfers cannot be reversed.
Evidence
urlscan.io rated the page malicious and recognised it as a generic crypto brand imitation, which matches our classification. On VirusTotal, 4 of 89 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-17: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar. That is a low count, so many security tools would not have blocked it. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference the domain, which shows other researchers tracked it independently. Among blocklists, it appears on PhishDestroy's.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Name.com, Inc. on 2026-07-23, about six weeks before we detected it. That gap fits a pattern of registering a domain, preparing it, and only then pushing traffic to it. The site sat behind Cloudflare, with the edge address resolving to Canada, so the real origin server was hidden. The site was live for only about nine days after we first saw it before it went dark.
What to do
If you created an account or typed a password on YNPFM, change that password everywhere you reused it and turn on app-based 2FA. If you entered a seed phrase, assume the wallet is compromised and move any remaining funds to a new wallet right away. If you connected a wallet and approved anything, revoke those token approvals with a reputable approval checker. Do not pay any "unlock" or "withdrawal" fee to get money back, because that is a second round of the same fraud. Defenders should block ynppek.com and watch for look-alike domains that reuse the YNPFM branding.
