How the scam works
Vote-themed lures send a link asking the recipient to back a project, a proposal or a contest entry, often with a sense of urgency or a promised reward for taking part. The "Vote" button then asks the visitor to connect a wallet or sign in. In wallet-focused versions of this scheme, the signature or approval request grants the attacker permission to move tokens, and the wallet is emptied once it is signed. In credential versions, the login details typed into the fake form go straight to the operator.
Evidence
Six of 92 engines on VirusTotal flagged the domain as of 2026-10-13: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but several of these vendors specialise in crypto threats, and the domain is also blocked by MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL.
