u7o2i.icu is an impersonation phishing site on a throwaway .icu name built from random characters. It posed as a legitimate service so visitors would trust it with their information. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-11. It went offline on 2026-09-17, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was still inactive, so the domain no longer resolves.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a service the victim already uses. They then ask for a login, a verification step or account details, and anything typed in goes straight to the operator. Victims can lose account access, personal data, and the funds those accounts control. When we checked, the page title read "403 Forbidden", while our classification of the domain is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
On 2026-09-11, the day PhishDestroy flagged it, VirusTotal showed 10 of 89 engines rating the domain malicious. The vendors flagging it included alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest share of engines, but these vendors run independent detection pipelines and reached the same verdict. Among blocklists, the domain appears on PhishDestroy.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2025-09-22 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., nearly a year before it was detected. This means the name was held for a long time before it surfaced as a phishing page. It was hosted on Tencent's network (TENCENT-NET-AP-CN) at 43.160.212.119, geolocated to Singapore. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock icon said nothing about whether the site could be trusted.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it right away on the real service and on any other account that shares it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and review recent sessions and login alerts. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a newly created wallet. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, search proxy and DNS logs for any lookups since 2025-09-22, and reset credentials for any user who reached it.
