How the scam works
Impersonation pages borrow a trusted local brand so that visitors expect a routine transaction, such as booking a seasonal tyre swap or paying a deposit for new tyres. A victim can lose money on bookings or deposits that never happen. Their personal and card data can also be reused for fraud or for convincing follow-up scams.
