Its title, "Vote 0x4B...1E18 — pons", presents it as a ballot on a specific proposal, the kind of link circulated to token holders in community channels. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-15. The site has been offline since 2026-09-16, and as of 2026-10-19 the root returns no content.
How the scam works
Fake voting pages exploit the urgency around governance. Holders are told a proposal is live and that they must connect a wallet to cast their vote. The "vote" is the trap. Instead of a harmless signature, the victim is typically asked to approve token spending or sign a permit, which hands the operator the ability to move the assets.
