PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

nft2014.exchange is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as an NFT and crypto trading platform. It targets people looking to invest or trade digital assets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-30. The site was still online and serving live content on 2026-10-19. Its page title reads only "undefined", so it does not name any brand, but its content and behavior led us to classify it as impersonation phishing.

How the scam works

urlscan.io matched the page to an investment-scam pattern. These schemes follow a familiar script. The site presents itself as a real exchange with dashboards and balances that appear to grow. Victims are pushed to deposit crypto or connect a wallet. When they try to withdraw, new "fees", "taxes" or "verification deposits" appear, and the money sent is never returned. The MetaMask and SEAL listings indicate the operation also targets self-custody wallet users, who risk handing over seed phrases or signing transactions that move their funds.

Evidence

Nine of 91 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-02. They include BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, alphaMountain.ai and LevelBlue. That is a modest count, but it comes from several independent vendors. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and tagged the page as an investment scam. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, so wallet software that uses those feeds should warn users before they interact with it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-26 through Cloudflare, Inc, and we detected it only four days later. That short gap is typical of throwaway scam domains launched to catch victims quickly before they get blocked. Traffic resolves to Cloudflare's network with a Canadian location. Cloudflare's proxy hides the server that actually hosts the content.

What to do

Do not send further deposits or pay any "withdrawal fee" this site or its support staff request. Paying more never releases funds in these schemes. If you connected a wallet, revoke the token approvals it granted. If you typed a seed phrase, move remaining assets to a newly created wallet immediately. Keep transaction hashes and chat logs and report them to your exchange and local authorities. Watch for "recovery" services that contact you, since they often run follow-up scams. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to wallet and browser warning lists, and report it to Cloudflare for takedown.
