It reuses Morpho's own tagline as its page title, "Morpho | The open credit network for the world." How the scam works
Morpho users interact with lending vaults by connecting a wallet and signing transactions. A copycat front end exploits that habit. The visitor lands on a page that looks like the real app, clicks to connect, and is asked to approve or sign something presented as a routine deposit, claim or position update. In schemes of this kind, that signature grants token spending rights or transfers assets outright. The wallet can then be emptied without any further action from the victim.

Thirteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flag the domain, checked 2026-09-24. Among them is ChainPatrol, a crypto-focused vendor, alongside alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. The domain also sits on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists, which matters because wallet users get a direct warning before interacting.
