PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

listingvote.help is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself simply as "Vote" and borrows the look of a legitimate service to win visitors' trust. Its name and its listing on ScamSniffer, a blocklist focused on Web3 scams, point at crypto users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-14. It was still online and serving its content on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake voting pages follow a familiar script. A link circulates in chats, DMs or replies asking people to "vote" for a project or token listing. The voting step then demands that the visitor sign in or verify an account on a page made to look like a trusted brand. Anything typed there, such as usernames, passwords, one-time codes or recovery details, goes straight to the operators. They use it to hijack the account and anything of value tied to it.

Evidence

Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-18: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a modest count, but it comes from vendors working independently of each other. ScamSniffer lists the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus places it on its Domain Block List under the spam category. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, so other researchers are tracking the same activity.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Hosting Concepts B.V. (Registrar.eu) on 2026-10-06, only eight days before we caught it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains that are set up, pushed to victims and abandoned. The site runs on a server operated by DEDIK SERVICES LIMITED, a UK-registered network, with the machine located in Germany. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the browser padlock, and the padlock says nothing about whether the site is honest.

What to do

If you entered a password or login code on this page, change that password now from the genuine service, along with any other account that shares it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new one. Do not engage with anyone who sent you the voting link. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and search mail and chat logs for links to it.
