learns-start-ledgr.pages.dev is an impersonation phishing page hosted as a free Cloudflare Pages subdomain. Its name is a misspelled play on Ledger's device setup flow, and urlscan.io detected Ledger branding on it, so the likely targets are hardware wallet owners setting up or "restoring" a device. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-01. The site has been offline since 2026-09-13 and was still dead, with its content blocked by the provider, at the last check on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
Pages like this copy a wallet vendor's onboarding steps and tell the visitor to type in their 24-word recovery phrase, or to connect a wallet to "verify" or "update" it. Anyone who enters the phrase gives the operator full control of every account derived from it, and the funds can be swept within minutes. The page title now reads "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare", which is the warning page Cloudflare shows on blocked content. We classified the site as Cloudflare impersonation, while the scanned content showed Ledger branding.
Evidence
urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and identified Ledger as the impersonated brand. On VirusTotal, 10 of 89 engines flagged the site as of 2026-09-15, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Kaspersky, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, Lionic and SafeToOpen. That is a minority of engines, but it includes several major vendors. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy's own.
Infrastructure
The subdomain dates to 2026-07-30, about a month before we caught it. It went down less than two weeks after detection. It ran on Cloudflare Pages and resolved to Cloudflare, Inc. network space geolocated in Canada, with a Google Trust Services certificate. Free static hosting like this lets operators launch a convincing lookalike in minutes and replace it just as quickly after a takedown.
What to do
If you typed your recovery phrase into this site, treat the wallet as compromised. Reset your Ledger with a new phrase, or set up a new wallet, and move any remaining funds there right away. If you connected a wallet, revoke any token approvals you granted around the time of your visit. Only set up a device through Ledger's official app and never enter a recovery phrase on a website. Defenders should block this hostname, watch for other lookalike pages.dev subdomains using Ledger terms, and report new ones to Cloudflare.
