hpcvip.com is a phishing site that presents itself under the title "IRENA", the name of the International Renewable Energy Agency. Victims can lose their contact and identity details, any passwords they reuse elsewhere, and any money sent to the operators.
Evidence
Independent detection is thin. On 2026-09-22, only 2 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying it. The domain does appear in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses, so other researchers have linked it to threat activity. A clean result from most scanners should not be read as a sign that the site is safe.

Watch for follow-up messages that use the IRENA name, and report any that arrive. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, and add the IRENA lure to phishing awareness material.
