PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

gram-unlock.xyz is an impersonation phishing site. Its name promises to "unlock" something, which is aimed at crypto users who believe they have frozen, locked or pending assets. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-03. On 2026-10-19 the domain still answered as live, but its DNS no longer pointed to active content, so it could be switched back on at any time.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a service the victim already trusts, then claim that funds or an account must be "unlocked" or verified. The victim is pushed to type in login details, a recovery phrase, or to connect and sign with a wallet, and that hands control to the operator. When we checked, the page title showed only "Loading", a placeholder that does not name any brand, while our classification is impersonation phishing.

Evidence

On 2026-10-05, 7 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and LevelBlue. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, an independent reputation signal separate from the antivirus engines. One AlienVault OTX pulse references it, and PhishDestroy carries it on its blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-07-14 through Global Domain Group LLC, about 81 days before we caught it. A gap like that is typical of domains that sit unused before a campaign starts. It is hosted on the UFO Technologies Limited network in Great Britain. Its certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the browser padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is honest.

What to do

If you entered a password or email on this site, change it on the real service right away, turn on app-based 2FA, and sign out of every other session. If you typed a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet created with a fresh phrase. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, revoke the approvals it granted using a token-approval checker. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and the proxy, and search their logs for visits since 2026-10-03, because a domain that is alive but has inactive DNS can return without warning.
