How the scam works
Microsoft impersonation pages usually copy the familiar sign-in screen and ask for an email address and password, sometimes followed by a one-time code. Anything typed in goes to the operator rather than to Microsoft. A stolen Microsoft login can open email, cloud files and any service linked to that account. Hijacked mailboxes are then often used to reset other passwords or to send convincing phishing to the victim's contacts.
Evidence
On 2026-10-03, nine of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky, MalwareURL, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That is a minority of engines, but it spans several unrelated vendors. urlscan.io independently marked the page malicious and detected Microsoft branding, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well.

The domain was registered on 2016-01-31 through Amazon Registrar, Inc., more than ten years before PhishDestroy first saw it. That age means filters that distrust newly registered domains will not catch it. The site runs on Amazon.com, Inc. infrastructure in the US. Its TLS certificate, issued by Amazon RSA 2048 M04, shows a padlock in the browser, which says nothing about whether the page is legitimate.
What to do

Review the recent sign-in activity on the account and sign out of all other sessions. Turn on two-step verification, or re-register your authenticator if you typed a code into this page. Check your mailbox for new forwarding rules or unfamiliar app permissions, and change any other account that used the same password. Defenders should block the domain at mail and web gateways, search logs for visits, and force credential resets for any users who reached the page.
