On 2026-10-06, seven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, ESET, Emsisoft, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Netcraft and Webroot. That is a minority of engines, but these are independent vendors, including established phishing-focused feeds. Their convergence on a domain only days old is a meaningful signal. The domain also appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have tied it to tracked malicious activity.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-27 through Fewmoretaps OU, which trades as Trustname.com. PhishDestroy flagged it eight days later, a pattern typical of throwaway domains put into use almost immediately. It resolves to Cloudflare's network (AS13335, United States), so the real server behind it is hidden from view. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock in the browser, which says nothing about whether the site is safe.
What to do
Do not visit dabopex.com or follow links that lead to it, and close any page it forwarded you to. If you typed a password or email anywhere after landing there, change that password and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered personal or payment details, or sent money or crypto, contact your bank or platform and save every transaction reference. Refuse any further payment requested to recover or unlock funds.
