PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

correos-entrega.slodkibox.pl poses as Correos, the Spanish postal service, and targets people expecting a parcel. The subdomain reads like a delivery notice ("correos-entrega") and the page is titled "Métodos de pago" (payment methods). PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-26. On 2026-10-19 the host still answered, but the phishing content no longer loaded.

How the scam works

Fake Correos pages usually follow a parcel-delivery lure. The victim gets an SMS or email saying a package is held because of a small unpaid customs or shipping fee, then lands on a page that copies Correos branding. The "Métodos de pago" page asks for card details to settle that fee. Victims lose more than the token amount, because the card number, expiry date and security code go straight to the operators. These schemes often follow up by asking for a bank verification code, which lets the criminals approve larger charges.

Evidence

On 2026-10-07, VirusTotal showed 12 of 92 engines flagging the domain as malicious. The vendors included alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and Lionic. That is modest coverage, so many browsers and filters may not warn on this host. urlscan.io independently rated the page malicious and recognised Correos branding on it. Among blocklists, it currently appears on PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The parent domain slodkibox.pl was registered on 2026-08-27 through home.pl sp. z o.o., about a month before PhishDestroy detected the phishing subdomain. The Polish domain name has nothing to do with Correos or Spain, which is a strong red flag for a page claiming to be the Spanish post. The site is hosted in the United Arab Emirates on the network of Joseph Hofmann trading as 'Tornado Datacenter GmbH & Co. KG'. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the browser padlock proves nothing about who runs it.

What to do

If you entered card details on this page, call your bank now, block the card and dispute any charges you do not recognise. Never share one-time codes sent by your bank to "confirm" a delivery fee. If you only visited the page, delete the SMS or email that brought you there. Check any real shipment only through the official Correos app or website, typed in by hand. Defenders should block the full slodkibox.pl domain at DNS and mail gateways and add the Correos delivery lure to user-awareness alerts.
