Overview

bigbeddingco.shop presents itself as "Top Online Bedding Shop | Big Bedding," a home-textiles retailer aimed at online shoppers looking for cheap bedding. PhishDestroy classifies it as an e-commerce scam: a fake online shop that collects money without delivering legitimate goods. We first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its storefront.

How the scam works

Shops like Big Bedding copy the look of a real retailer, with product grids, steep "sale" prices and a checkout page, so the store seems routine. The shopper pays by card or another method and gets either nothing, a cheap item unlike the listing, or a stream of excuses about shipping delays. The victim loses the purchase price and also exposes the card number, billing address and contact details entered at checkout. Those details can be reused for further fraud or targeted follow-up scams.

Evidence

On 2026-10-16, 9 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, G-Data, Gridinsoft and LevelBlue. That count is modest, but it comes from several unrelated vendors reaching the same conclusion. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses and on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-22, about five months before we detected it. That gap suggests either a slow build-up or a storefront that ran quietly before being reported. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia (GE). The certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the padlock in the browser only shows an encrypted connection and says nothing about whether the shop is honest.

Do not order from bigbeddingco.shop. If you already paid, contact your bank or card issuer right away, report the transaction as fraud, request a chargeback and ask for a replacement card.
