PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

wormgpt.checkleaked.com is a phishing page that impersonates Discord and targets users of that platform. It presents itself as "WormGPT — Uncensored AI Assistant for Telegram, Discord & Web", a pitch aimed at people curious about unrestricted AI tools. The page title advertises an AI assistant, while our classification is Discord impersonation phishing. PhishDestroy first flagged the site on 2026-09-26, and it was still online with its content live as of 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The WormGPT name is the bait. It draws people who are hunting for an "uncensored" chatbot and promises it can be added to their Discord server or chat. Schemes of this type usually ask the visitor to log in with Discord or to authorize the bot. The prompt imitates Discord's own sign-in so that the username, password and one-time code end up with the operators. A hijacked account is then typically used to message friends and servers with further scam links, so one victim becomes the next lure.

Evidence

Six of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-03: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar, URLQuery and VIPRE. That is low coverage, so most browsers and security products are unlikely to warn visitors yet. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist listing it so far.

Infrastructure

The checkleaked.com domain was registered on 2025-02-17 through NAMECHEAP INC, roughly nineteen months before we detected the phishing page. A subdomain on an older parent domain is a common way to avoid looking like a freshly registered scam site. Traffic goes through Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, which hides the actual origin server behind the proxy. The certificate is a standard one from Google Trust Services, so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered Discord credentials here, change your Discord password right away from the official app. Then reset two-factor authentication and log out all other sessions. Check Authorized Apps in your Discord settings and remove any bot or application you don't recognize. Warn your contacts and servers that messages sent from your account may be fraudulent. Change the password anywhere else you reused it. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and web proxies, report it to Discord's trust and safety team, and watch community channels for links advertising WormGPT or other "uncensored AI" bots.
