PhishDestroy threat report
us-zoom.net is a phishing domain that impersonates Zoom. The "us-" prefix is meant to pass as a regional Zoom address to anyone who receives a meeting link or download prompt. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-09-05. On 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and redirecting visitors elsewhere. The page title reads "Namecheap Parking Page", while we classify the domain as Zoom impersonation.
Zoom lookalike domains usually arrive inside a fake meeting invitation, often sent after a short chat with a supposed recruiter, investor or business partner. The victim may be asked to sign in, which hands their account password to the operator. Or they may be told their client is outdated and given a "Zoom update" that is actually malware. In crypto-focused campaigns, that installer is typically used to steal browser sessions, saved passwords and wallet data. The redirect on this domain means the operator can change where a visitor ends up at any time.
Six of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-15: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That count is modest, so many security products may still let it through. Stronger support comes from Spamhaus, which lists it in its DBL under the phishing category. MetaMask's blocklist and SEAL both include it alongside PhishDestroy. MetaMask's listing suggests the domain is aimed at crypto users. Three AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it.
The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-09-03, only two days before PhishDestroy caught it. That timing fits a domain set up for a near-term campaign rather than a long-standing business. It sits behind Cloudflare's network, which hides the real origin server, and the hosting is located in Canada. It holds a valid certificate from Google Trust Services, so the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site is genuine Zoom.
If you entered a Zoom, Google or Microsoft password through this domain, change it immediately. Turn on two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. If you downloaded or ran anything it offered, disconnect that machine and remove the file. Then run a full malware scan. Assume any passwords or wallet keys stored on that device are exposed, and move crypto funds to a wallet created on a clean device. Defenders should block us-zoom.net at DNS and the mail gateway, and search mail logs for invites linking to it.
