How the scam works
The page title advertises a free game-download portal rather than a Steam login screen, while we classify the site as Steam impersonation phishing. Schemes like this use the promise of free, pre-installed games to win a visitor's trust. They then route the visitor to a Steam-branded sign-in prompt or to a download, and a Steam login entered there goes straight to the operators. A hijacked account gives them its game library, inventory items and wallet balance, as well as any payment methods saved to it. Downloaded "game" files from such sites can also carry malware that steals saved logins.
Evidence
On 2026-10-19, VirusTotal showed 7 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar, Sophos and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but it includes several established web-filtering vendors. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL with the phishing tag, which gives it independent confirmation outside the antivirus ecosystem. Two AlienVault OTX threat pulses also reference it, and it appears on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

What to do
If you signed in to Steam through this site, change your Steam password immediately and turn on Steam Guard with the mobile authenticator. Also review Steam's authorized devices and log out all other sessions. If you downloaded and ran anything from it, scan the machine with a reputable antivirus tool.
